Security & Privacy
Kindly Adjust helps organisations manage recruitment adjustments. Here's how we handle the information candidates share.
How candidate data is handled
Candidates access their adjustment request through a secure, unique link. Only the recruitment team at the organisation you're applying to can see your request. We don't show your information to other organisations.
Data minimisation
We only ask for what's needed to arrange your interview adjustments. You don't need to share a diagnosis, medical records or detailed medical history — just what would help you during the recruitment process.
Role-based access
People within the organisation have different roles. Recruiters and organisation administrators access what they need to arrange adjustments. Interviewers receive only the specific agreed adjustments relevant to the interview, not the underlying notes or barrier selections.
Organisation separation
Each organisation's data is kept separate. Access is enforced at the data layer, not just by hiding buttons, so one organisation cannot reach another's information by changing a link or identifier.
Auditability
Important actions — such as a request being submitted, a briefing shared, or a secure link revoked — are recorded in an audit log that the organisation's administrators can review.
Retention controls
Organisations can configure how long adjustment records are kept. We're continuing to build out the operational lifecycle that acts on those settings.
Candidate privacy
Before submitting, candidates see how their information is handled, with links to the organisation's privacy notice and Kindly Organised's privacy information. Secure links can be revoked and expire, and candidates always have a fallback way to contact the recruitment team if the form itself is a barrier.

About certifications
We don't claim certifications we haven't achieved. Independent assurance such as penetration testing, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 requires external action and will be reflected here only once genuinely obtained.
